Kindly ensure sufficient space is cleared for disposal and delivery to be carried out in a safe manner. Please remove all loose decorative items (e.g. frames, hanging lights) from the item before our team arrives for the disposal/delivery.
If our delivery team is unable to proceed with the disposal via elevators (e.g. furniture is unable to fit into the elevator or a working elevator is unavailable), Megafurniture reserves the right to cancel the disposal and refund your disposal fees less 15% processing fee.
Should our team decide (at our sole discretion, and with your agreement) that disposal can be carried out safely via staircases in a non-hazardous manner, additional charges per item will be applicable as follows:
- S$10 per item per non lift-accessible storey
- To be paid directly to the delivery team in cash before commencement.
- Fees also apply to stairs within landed properties or HDB maisonettes.
Disclaimer: Megafurniture reserves the right to cancel any disposal service, in exchange for a full refund, at our sole discretion if it is deemed not feasible for disposal to be carried out safely.
Professional and good customer service
Ordering online was simple. Delivery was painless staff at the call centre were helpful and informative delivery guys were punctual and professional.
The delivery staff did a very good job in disposing of old sofa. Highly recommend!
Wish that i could give them zero star, but the minimum is 1 star. Ordered a bedframe and waited for four months, after purchasing i had to call to ask when would the delivery be only then they told me that i will have to wait 2 months later due to the lock down in malaysia where their stock is. Not that i have a choice so i waited for 2 months patiently. 2 months later still not update, i called again, asking when will the delivery come, then they told me need to wait 2 more months. I have no other choice so i agreed. Finally 4 months past and one fine day they called me telling me that the delivery will be tmr(thursday 7 oct). Hmm what a last minute informing service, since i will be working and i cannot take last minute leave i asked my mum to be home to accept the delivery. Waited to 5.30 , they gave me a call saying they will be arriving soon. About 15 mins later another call came saying that they cannot deliver today(7 oct) because they took the wrong stock and will rearrange a delivery on saturday (9 oct), my mum was obvious pissed for having to wait for one day at home and it didnt not arrived. On a side note beside the bedframe i bought a disposal service for large items. Since i want to dispose my old bedframe i purchase the large item which cost $50 additional for it and it was th most expensive option there. 9 oct today the new bedframe came and i showed that my old bedframe to be dispose. Now they claim that my old bedframe is a cupboard. Is it a connecting cupboard and bedframe is it one piece upon purchase. But now they claim that is 2 large pieces and the delivery guy refuse to dipose it claiming that it is a cupboard and not a bedframe. What i cannot understand is based on their website category for large item,
1) both of it falls in the same price category.
2) is it connected why are counting it as 2 prices
While the delivery guy refuse to dispose , their customer service called me to explain to me saying that it is possible if i pay another additional $50 because it is CONSIDERED as 2 large items. Else they will not dispose the old bedframe. At the moment i have no other choice to pay for it because i cannot dispose it myself , if i could from the start i wouldnt have paid for that service right? All i can conclude is what a poor service from the start of informing the delay before purchase, arranging last minute delivery expected that everyone is so free to be home at all times, checking of the right bedframe to deliver, and lastly i felt so cheated by the additonal cost for disposal service.. was it suppose to be a scam from the start?
Bought a new mattress and the disposal of my old mattress was just a worry-free experience. The crew just took care of everything before the new mattress was laid. Simply painless. Can't imagine if this option was not taken.
Do I have to x2 of the quantity if my bed frame is a double decker?
Yes, you have to add 2 quantity in cart if your current bed is a double decker bed.
