The certification aims to guarantee that the certified products are free of harmful substances such as heavy metals, toxic dyes, crop protection substances, and carcinogenic substances like formaldehyde and therefore safe for human health and the environment too.

Our products conform to the EuroLatex Eco Standard, which defines the maximum acceptable limits of substances considered harmful to health. The certification attests that our products are safe and pose no risk to the sleeper.

LGA Certification is administered by TÜV Rheinland AG, a global provider of technical, safety, and certification services with headquarters in Cologne, Germany. The certification is awarded to mattresses that meet the durability criteria. It encompasses passing a durability test (most certified mattresses last seven to ten years), no strong odor, limited volatile organic compound (VOC) and formaldehyde emissions, strict limits on substances that are toxic carcinogenic, or that may impair fertility, such as flame retardants, heavy metals, azo dyes, pesticides, etc.

Sofzsleep pillow and Bamboo cover were tested by Intertek, a global renowned laboratory. When can a baby sleep with a pillow?

If you are expecting a baby, one of the most enjoyable tasks is prepping up the nursery room to welcome your little one. As adults, sleeping without a pillow would probably give you a stiff neck or shoulder ache in the morning, which might make us wonder if babies should sleep with a baby pillow, or stay away from it.

According to American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP), soft objects such as pillows and pillow-like toys, quilts, comforters, sheepskins, and loose bedding can obstruct an infant’s nose and mouth. Hence, AAP recommends the introduction of pillows to your little ones only when they reach the age of 18 months when the risks of SIDS and SUDI are greatly reduced.

How to choose the right baby pillow?

Sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI) is a broad term that includes SIDS and fatal sleeping accidents and often used to describe a situation when a baby dies unexpectedly and for no obvious reason.

To reduce the risk of SIDS and SUDI, parents are strongly encouraged to put babies to sleep on their back (“Back to Sleep”).

A baby’s skull is made of soft, malleable bones, and prolonged sleeping on its back can lead to a flattening of the skull. This is termed positional plagiocephaly. The condition often improves by the time the baby turns 12 months. However, severe plagiocephaly can lead to complications such as developmental delays, seizures, and blindness.

Hence, to prevent positional plagiocephaly, a suitable and baby-safe pillow could be introduced during day naps and used under supervision to support the baby’s head.

Combining two or more orders. (same delivery date and timing)

Item cannot fit into the lift on the day of delivery.

If the item to be delivered cannot fit into the lift, our delivery team will notify you and assess whether the item can be carried up by stairs as item may be prone to damage narrow stairway or obstructing passageway. Megafurniture reserves the right not to proceed with the delivery and refund you the payments made for the order.

For delivery via staircase, additional charges will apply to each item as follows: $10 for every level. (e.g. Delivery to level 6: Additional charges per item = $60 )

Exchange, return or refund of item(s)

Requests to exchange, return or refund have to be made withing 7 days of receiving the item(s). Staircase delivery charges (as published on our website) should your premises be inaccessible via the lift
Delivery location surcharge; For returns of products to selected locations, delivery surcharges that were charged to these selected locations will not be refunded. If the returns are to be done in surchargeable locations, the surcharge will be charged again for the returns.
Delivery timing surcharge; For deliveries after 6pm, a surcharge of $30 applies.

It is absolutely FREE to return the products if you are dissatisfied with your purchase.

Free Delivery

Orders must be at least worth S$200 dollars to be eligible for free delivery.

To qualify for free delivery, your delivery location must be accessible by elevator/lift. (i.e. on the same storey as the lift landing) or on the same floor as the goods loading/unloading area.

Staircase Delivery Fees (Furniture)

Kindly note that standard Passenger Lifts are unsuitable for the delivery of sofas with widths greater than 215cm.

If the delivery crew is unable to send furniture to your location via the elevator at the point of delivery (eg. Furniture is unable to fit into elevator, elevator breakdown upon delivery crew's arrival, refusal of elevator access by building management etc) Megafurniture will assess (at our own discretion) the feasibility of the furniture being carried up via the staircase in a non-hazardous manner.

Should delivery via staircase be deemed safe, additional charges per non-wardrobe/wardrobe item will be as follows:

Additional S$10.00 per non-wardrobe item transported to a non lift-accessible storey
Additional S$20.00 per wardrobe transported to a non lift-accessible storey
Fees also apply to stairs within landed properties or HDB maisonettes.
