Mattress dimensions refer to the mattress itself. The overall dimensions of a bed frame will usually be larger depending on its design, headboard and storage features.
Understand the Different Bed Sizes
Single Bed
91 x 190 cm. A compact bed for one sleeper. Suits children's rooms, guest rooms and smaller bedrooms where floor space is tight. Leaves room for a desk or wardrobe.
Super Single Bed
107 x 190 cm. Same length as a single, with 16 cm more width. Good for adults who like to stretch out or teenagers who are growing. It takes only slightly more floor space.
Queen Bed
152 x 190 cm. A common choice for couples. Allow enough space on both sides to get in and out. If you choose a storage bed, check that drawers or the gas-lift can open fully.
King Bed
183 x 190 cm. The widest standard size, 31 cm wider than a queen. Better suited to larger bedrooms. Measure the room and your delivery route carefully before you order.
