    1. To test the new wiring in your flat, you have to submit an SP Services Ltd (SPSL) Form CS/5H form endorsed by HDB to SPSL. You do not need to secure this form if you have a newer block since HDB blocks completed on or after January 1994 are provided with a 40-amp main switch that can accommodate higher electrical loading. If your flat has only 30-amp, you need to follow the process above. Note that the maximum allowed weight for a condenser is 80 g, while the maximum for wall panels is 110 kg whether for an air conditioner ledge or external wall.

    2. An installation report must be secured and sent to your HDB managing branch within 14 days after installation. Failure to comply will result in penalties.

    3. The air conditioner unit must be installed in approved areas only. Any part of the unit is not allowed to be installed along common corridors.
